100g Unsalted Butter
200g icing sugar
1 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Beat the butter and sugar together until smooth, then add the milk and vanilla extract.
Why not try
Salted chocolate buttercream? Remove the vanilla extract and add 100g of melted dark chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon of table salt.
When creaming butter and icing sugar add a tablespoon of hot water to the mix - it gives you a fluffier mix faster.
Icing sugar can absorb flavours and odours, so store the closed pack away from strong smelling or flavoured foods.
